Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using MDS Live Chat & Help Desk ("the Plugin"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not install or use the Plugin.

License

The Plugin is distributed under the GNU General Public License v2 (or later), the same license required by WordPress.org for all listed plugins. You are free to use, modify, and redistribute the Plugin under the terms of that license. The GPL grants you these freedoms but does not transfer any trademark rights to the "MDS Live Chat & Help Desk" name or the MDS Store brand.

Use of the Plugin

• The Plugin is provided for use on WordPress websites you own or are authorized to manage.
• You are responsible for how the Plugin is configured on your site, including who can access the admin chat dashboard.
• You are responsible for complying with applicable data protection laws (such as GDPR) for any visitor data your website collects through the Plugin's chat feature.
• You may not use the Plugin for any unlawful purpose or to collect visitor data without appropriate disclosure on your own site.

No Warranty

The Plugin is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Plugin will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with every WordPress theme or plugin combination.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MDS Store shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of data, revenue, or business, arising from your use of or inability to use the Plugin.

Support & Updates

Support is provided on a best-effort basis through our contact page. We aim to respond within a reasonable time but do not guarantee a specific response time or resolution. Updates to the Plugin may be released periodically to add features, fix bugs, or maintain compatibility with new WordPress or WooCommerce versions; we do not guarantee ongoing support for older versions.

Third-Party Dependencies

Some features (such as order history lookup) require WooCommerce to be active on your site. We are not responsible for changes made by WooCommerce or WordPress core that affect the Plugin's compatibility. Browser push notifications rely on the standard Web Push API provided by the visitor's browser, which is outside our control.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Plugin after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
